Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cássio Granja made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th match minute, FC Virtudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Roriz to maneuver through the defense. Celso Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Granja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Armindo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Sá. Leal Severiano struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. David Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Virtudes. Celso Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Granja in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Virtudes's zone, Cássio Granja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Bezerra came out of the goal and Cássio Granja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Granja in the 29th minute of play. Benedito Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Armindo Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. David Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Leal Severiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. David Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armindo Guimarães hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Cássio Granja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Armindo Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Virtudes's protests and gave Armindo Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of lusitano booed when FC Virtudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Armindo Guimarães made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, José Baião reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celso Bezerra. The goal made the score 2-1. 56 minutes into the match, lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Guimarães came free, but David Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. lusitano's Cássio Granja got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laurentino Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Bezerra having to make a save. In the 67th minute Leal Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, FC Virtudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romão Antas to maneuver through the defense. Celso Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Granja, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Armindo Guimarães made a precise shot to the right of David Barros. lusitano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in lusitano's zone, Leal Severiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Barros came out of the goal and Leal Severiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Virtudes's Severino Saldanha couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for lusitano. In the 97th minute of the match, Cássio Granja tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celso Bezerra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Virtudes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
