Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel Teixeira got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Samuel Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Covao FC's goalkeeper Afonso Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute of the match Joaquim Miranda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Loureiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. EsCoBaR TeaM's Samuel Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Amílcar Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílcar Moutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasco Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Humberto Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasco Paredes got free with Humberto Loureiro in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Covao FC's zone, Samuel Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Lopes came out of the goal and Samuel Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Paredes in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonso Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Teixeira in the 32nd minute of the match. Samuel Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Lopes having to interfere. After 39 played minutes EsCoBaR TeaM got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Toscano.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílcar Moutinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Noronha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, EsCoBaR TeaM's Samuel Teixeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 64 played minutes EsCoBaR TeaM got a freekick which was hit by Hermes Quintela. Vasco Paredes spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of EsCoBaR TeaM's goal. Amílcar Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Loureiro having to interfere. Homero Alcântara's late challenge caught a Covao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Homero Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, EsCoBaR TeaM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Homero Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Vasco Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Loureiro having to make a save. After 73 played minutes EsCoBaR TeaM got a freekick which was hit by Adérito Rangel. When Vasco Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Covao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Paredes couldn't finish the play. Humberto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Paredes in the 80th minute of play. Miguel Noronha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Lopes having to interfere. Covao FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
