Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Lourenço Dias came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the F.C Porto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Dias couldn't finish the play. Lourenço Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Vladimiro Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Valente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Moura's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Lourenço Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C Porto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meixedos the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Miguel Falcão could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Raimundo Eliu however easily saved by the left post. In the 18th minute, Basílio Moura made a precise shot to the right of Vladimiro Valente. Meixedos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Basílio Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiro Valente was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meixedos's goalkeeper Vladimiro Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. F.C Porto's Raimundo Eliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Brandão in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to F.C Porto getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lourenço Dias hit a great ball. The Meixedos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C Porto were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Brandão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C Porto's goalkeeper Raimundo Eliu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. F.C Porto's Raimundo Eliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Estrada in the 59th minute of play. Vladimiro Valente made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Basílio Moura sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Filipe Mota in the 71st minute really tested Vladimiro Valente's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Filipe Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Porto's zone, Miguel Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Eliu came out of the goal and Miguel Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Sandro Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Eliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Falcão in the 84th minute of play. Basílio Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Vladimiro Valente made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Lourenço Dias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vladimiro Valente, 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C Porto had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
