Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of SC Azurem booed when Penalva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Azurem's Filinto Rodrigues got a free kick in the 6th minute. Aldo Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cristiano Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saúl Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Ferro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Penalva's Daniel Amaral couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Azurem. If Aldo Portugal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saúl Pais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Garcia in the 31st minute. Nuno Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Saúl Pais acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Amaral. 42 minutes into the match, Penalva's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Portugal came free, but Cristiano Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Ferro was the one to do the kick off. The corner led to Penalva's Filipe Fernandes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Saúl Pais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Garcia's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Henrique Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saúl Pais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Penalva's Cristiano Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Portugal in the 71st minute of play. Aldo Portugal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Ferro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saúl Pais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, SC Azurem's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Garcia came free, but Saúl Pais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saúl Pais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Ferro went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cristiano Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Portugal in the 94th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Ferro in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saúl Pais prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
