Rodrigo Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alexandre Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Bessa in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inácio Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Valente's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Carlos Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Tobias Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Luz. Tobias Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 28th match minute, Feijoal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. When Luís Bessa came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Pontegaos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Bessa couldn't finish the play. In the 34th match minute, Pontegaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Viana to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Tomás Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Inácio Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luís Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Feijoal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pontegaos were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Valente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomás Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Marques having to interfere. Filipe Abreu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Alexandre Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rodrigo Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Tobias Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Barros went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pontegaos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
