Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Trindade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Barros went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Eire 88's zone, Tobias Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Trindade came out of the goal and Tobias Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Andrades short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Inácio Marques to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Feijoal's Rodrigo Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Daniel Santarém who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feijoal's Inácio Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 minutes, Silvestre Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feijoal and the Eire 88 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Feijoal got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Palmeira. Inácio Marques was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ricardo Torres. Amadeu Andrade struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Inácio Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eire 88. Inácio Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Tomé Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Feijoal's Carlos Porto got a free kick in the 35th minute. Inácio Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Andrade in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Carlos Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Santarém to strike the kick off in the second half. Eire 88's Carlos Trindade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Eire 88 from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Feijoal getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alfredo Amaral hit a great ball. Ricardo Torres was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Santarém in the 57th minute of play forced Feijoal's goalkeeper Inácio Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Inácio Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes, Eire 88's Américo Faro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inácio Marques came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eire 88 reached it. Ricardo Torres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inácio Marques. Feijoal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Inácio Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Amadeu Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Inácio Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Carlos Porto got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Carlos Porto hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Ricardo Torres was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Feijoal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Feijoal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
