Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusébio Melo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Eusébio Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galinheiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Vilhena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Posinho's Osvaldo Vilhena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Melo in the 8th minute of play. Galinheiras FC's Tiago Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Eusébio Melo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galinheiras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 24th minute of the match Nivaldo Queirós sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Aleixo skillfully saved the ball. Osvaldo Vilhena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Lage was the one to do the kick off. Vítor Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeferino Sobral in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Cruz got free with Osvaldo Vilhena in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Galinheiras FC's Tiago Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, SC Posinho's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Melo came free, but Osvaldo Vilhena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Lage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vítor Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Melo in the 71st minute of play forced SC Posinho's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vilhena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Mariano Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rui Lage came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the SC Posinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Lage couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Osvaldo Vilhena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tiago Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Osvaldo Vilhena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, SC Posinho's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vilhena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Cruz. Vítor Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeferino Sobral in the 87th minute of the match. When Gil Silva fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galinheiras FC's protests and gave Gil Silva a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Galinheiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Silva. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Dias during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 90 minutes into the game, one of Galinheiras FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for SC Posinho. Leonardo Semedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vítor Aleixo. 1-1. In the 95th minute Rui Lage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, SC Posinho's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Melo came free, but Osvaldo Vilhena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
