Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodrigo Setúbal got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Setúbal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Mourinho was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Sernelha's Ricardo Guarda got a free kick in the 5th minute. Aparício Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Miguel Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aparício Pedroso in the 10th minute of play forced Sernelha's goalkeeper Miguel Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Rodrigo Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sernelha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Aparício Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Laureano Mourinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Carneiro's late challenge caught a Gravanco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. Gonçalo Carneiro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Sernelha getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sérgio Nunes hit a great ball. If Geraldo Portela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aparício Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Geraldo Portela had several of the Sernelha's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Miguel Nascimento as he didn't even see the shot coming. Miguel Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Carreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute of the match, Geraldo Portela got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miguel Nascimento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Gravanco getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Germano Aguiar hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Sernelha got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Guarda. In the 95th minute Aparício Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
