Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guilherme Padilha took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Josué Caldas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Zambujinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Caldas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Zambujinho's Josué Caldas got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josué Caldas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Lages having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Sirvozelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Leme came free, but Amílcar Lages reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Homero Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Homero Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Homero Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué Caldas struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Amílcar Lages didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Zambujinho. After 38 played minutes SC Zambujinho got a freekick which was hit by Donato Matos. 40 minutes into the match, Sirvozelo FC's Américo Severiano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 42 minutes into the match, SC Zambujinho's goalkeeper Hélio Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Velasques. Juvenal Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Lages having to interfere. If David Velasques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juvenal Leme to make the kick off. Homero Coutinho hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Juvenal Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Gualter Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juvenal Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Amílcar Lages tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Portugal kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Guilherme Padilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio Pinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Padilha's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. If Juvenal Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Velasques in the 90th minute of play. When Evandro Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Zambujinho's protests and gave Evandro Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. Sirvozelo FC's Guilherme Padilha got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
