Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Castro started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Diego Sales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belchior Macena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Coelho having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Tronco FC's goalkeeper Mariano Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márcio Lousada. 18 minutes into the match, Tronco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Belchior Macena came free, but Mariano Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Raul Ruas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Teixeiro's goalkeeper Raul Ruas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ricardo Luz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tronco FC's protests and gave Ricardo Luz a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Tronco FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Luz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belchior Macena in the 45th minute of play forced Tronco FC's goalkeeper Mariano Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Teixeiro defense, André Oliveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Ruas. The Teixeiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Ruas should have stopped the shot.
In the 54th minute, Joel Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tronco FC's Mariano Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Lousada in the 57th minute of play. Joaquim Faria was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Tronco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Teixeiro:s goal. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Teixeiro. Paulo Raminhos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariano Coelho. 1-2. Belchior Macena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Coelho having to make a save. André Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Raul Ruas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Lousada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Ruas having to interfere. Mariano Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Macena in the 95th minute of play. When Belchior Macena came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Teixeiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belchior Macena couldn't finish the play. Tronco FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
