Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alexandre Azevedo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Alexandre Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Moutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Cucujães was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Alexandre Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Humberto Lima, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Junqueira's zone, Manuel Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Lima came out of the goal and Manuel Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul Leite hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alexandre Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Humberto Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Pereira struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Humberto Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cucujães. A collision led to Junqueira getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Raul Leite hit a great ball. Jacinto Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Alexandre Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manuel Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Cucujães's Alexandre Azevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Lima. Humberto Lima yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 43 minutes into the game, Alberto Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cucujães's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junqueira the free kick. After 43 played minutes Cucujães got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Porto. Fábio Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Humberto Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Junqueira getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Filipe Monteiro hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diamantino Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Cucujães got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pereira. João Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Leite in the 56th minute of play. Alberto Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Mota in the 65th minute of play forced Cucujães's goalkeeper João Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cucujães's João Moutinho got control of the ball when Simão Leiria tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Junqueira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Pereira was slow to take the kick. During this time Cucujães's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Manuel Pereira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Junqueira's Humberto Lima did a great save. João Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Mota in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Cucujães's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Leite came free, but João Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Junqueira's Humberto Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Azevedo in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cucujães had played much better football throughout.
