António Assunção made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Leonardo Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Adcamo's zone, Gaspar Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Palmiro Meireles came out of the goal and Gaspar Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC andre's António Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Coutinho in the 26th minute of play. The wind increased when Nuno Resende made the kick off in the second half. António Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Resende in the 59th minute of play. Pedro Coutinho came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and António Assunção could save by the left post. FC andre's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
