Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cássio Gomes started the match with the kick off. Cristóvão Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Alegrete FC's Cristóvão Matos got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Cássio Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Adolfo Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alegrete FC's goalkeeper Carlos Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Igor Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Os πnantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Vilaverde to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Cássio Gomes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Martins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 22 minutes of play, Os πnantes's Gonçalo Vilaverde made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Martins was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 28 in the game by Cláudio Rodrigues from a close distance when the talented Ademar Pádua managed to make a qualified save. Os πnantes's players were relieved. In the 31st minute, Cláudio Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ademar Pádua came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Alegrete FC's Cláudio Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Cláudio Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 45 minutes into the game, Os πnantes's Igor Varela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Martins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Moura made a kick off. Cláudio Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Pádua having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Alegrete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Gomes came free, but Carlos Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Vilaverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Pádua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Rodrigues in the 64th minute of play. David Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ademar Pádua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Gomes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The supporters of Alegrete FC booed when Os πnantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Vilaverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Os πnantes's goal looked a bit too open when David Moura came free, but Ademar Pádua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Pádua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Martins having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Alegrete FC got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Melo. Os πnantes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hildeberto Belo in the 94th minute. After taking down the ball on Os πnantes's corner Hildeberto Belo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Martins quite easily take care of the ball. Ademar Pádua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Os πnantes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
