Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aprígio Castanheira got the match started through his kick off. Enzo Valido made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 11thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Armindo Valente would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 13 minutes into the match, Khonsu F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armando Barbosa came free, but Normando Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Pinto in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Normando Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Painzela FC's Armando Barbosa in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Khonsu F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Danilo Bezerra's late challenge caught a Painzela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Painzela FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cristiano Abreu hit a great ball. A collision led to Khonsu F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Altino Belém hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Eduardo Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Painzela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Pinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Normando Nóbrega having to interfere. Eduardo Pinto struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Normando Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Painzela FC. A collision led to Khonsu F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Danilo Bezerra hit a great ball. Eduardo Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Altino Belém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Armindo Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Khonsu F.C. booed when Painzela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Painzela FC's zone, Aprígio Castanheira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Valente came out of the goal and Aprígio Castanheira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Pinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Painzela FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cristiano Abreu hit a great ball. Khonsu F.C.'s Aprígio Castanheira got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Jesus hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Painzela FC's goalkeeper Armindo Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Enzo Valido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aprígio Castanheira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 68 minutes, Cristiano Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Painzela FC and the Khonsu F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Painzela FC's Cristiano Abreu got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aprígio Castanheira in the 70th minute of play forced Painzela FC's goalkeeper Armindo Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Painzela FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Abreu. In the 73rd minute of the match Fabrício Pinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armindo Valente skillfully saved the ball. Armindo Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aprígio Castanheira in the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Painzela FC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Jesus. Aprígio Castanheira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Armindo Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Cristiano Abreu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Khonsu F.C.'s Normando Nóbrega. Normando Nóbrega was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Painzela FC's Armindo Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Valido in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Khonsu F.C.'s goalkeeper Normando Nóbrega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Pinto. Normando Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Barbosa in the 95th minute. When Eduardo Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Painzela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Pinto couldn't finish the play. The Painzela FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Painzela FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
