The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Pinhancos. Hermínio Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rui Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germano Abreu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes of play, Palhais's Gaspar Porto made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albérico Pessoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 88 minutes, Joaquim Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palhais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hermínio Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
