Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Noel Pedroso took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, SC Pinhancos's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Pedroso came free, but Albérico Pessoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pinhancos's zone, Alcides Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albérico Pessoa came out of the goal and Alcides Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alcides Vides blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albérico Pessoa having to make a save. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pinhancos's goalkeeper Albérico Pessoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alcides Vides's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Albérico Pessoa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Abadessa's Nuno Salgado got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Abadessa's zone, Cristiano Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudemiro Osório came out of the goal and Cristiano Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Pedroso in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albérico Pessoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Abadessa getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Henrique Durães hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes, SC Pinhancos's Amadeu Correia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudemiro Osório came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Pinhancos reached it. Claudemiro Osório made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Reis in the 33rd minute of play. Noel Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Hermínio Valadares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudemiro Osório was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Reis to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Reis in the 52nd minute of play forced Abadessa's goalkeeper Claudemiro Osório to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Pinhancos's Hermínio Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Nuno Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Noel Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, SC Pinhancos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Dias to maneuver through the defense. Henrique Durães was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alcides Vides in the 85th minute of play forced SC Pinhancos's goalkeeper Albérico Pessoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermínio Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudemiro Osório having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
