Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Setúbal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Mariano Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Zambujal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Campanha FC defense, Mariano Setúbal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Zambujal. The Campanha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Zambujal should have stopped the shot. Luís Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ivan Vidigal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Zambujal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Luís Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobralinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Vidigal got free with Vítor Assunção in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Nuno Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sobralinho FC's zone, Ivan Vidigal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Assunção came out of the goal and Ivan Vidigal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When %teams%'s Nuno Peixoto was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-2 just inside the left pole, 40 minutes into the game. Vítor Assunção was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Vítor Assunção had great luck who in the 45thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nuno Peixoto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 48th minute Nuno Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Nuno Peixoto made the kick off in the second half. If Ivan Vidigal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Vidigal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Zambujal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Setúbal in the 64th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Murilo Graça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Zambujal made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Luís Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Sobralinho FC's Mariano Setúbal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Mariano Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Luís Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobralinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Assunção read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Campanha FC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Espinosa. The Sobralinho FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sobralinho FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
