Afonso Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Guilhova's Afonso Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Calheiros having to interfere. Afonso Cabral struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Joaquim Calheiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Guilhova. SC Guilhova's Afonso Cabral was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to SC Guilhova getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cristiano Mota hit a great ball. Aquilino Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquilino Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Lazareto's Aquilino Domingues got a free kick in the 45th minute. Pedro Mota kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 46thth minute. Though ot was a great shot SC Lazareto's keeper Joaquim Calheiros was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.

Pedro Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Calheiros having to interfere. Afonso Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55thth minute of the game Afonso Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Lazareto's Joaquim Calheiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Pedro Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Moita hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gonçalo Leal made a huge save. Joaquim Calheiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Rodolfo Castanheira charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Mota in the 68th minute of play forced SC Lazareto's goalkeeper Joaquim Calheiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes SC Lazareto got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Moita. Joaquim Calheiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Joaquim Calheiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Ademar Moutinho rounded SC Guilhova's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2.
