SC Comunhas's Alexandre Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Morais having to interfere. When Henrique Lameiras came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Aveleda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Lameiras couldn't finish the play. Henrique Lameiras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Marco Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Comunhas's zone, Henrique Lameiras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Morais came out of the goal and Henrique Lameiras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Alexandre Trindade made the kick off in the second half. Cândido Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Figueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Abreu in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Alexandre Trindade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alexandre Figueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Comunhas's Marco Morais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save SC Comunhas from getting a goal against them. Henrique Lameiras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Morais having to make a save.
