Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Macena started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, SC Chavao's Luís Camargo got control of the ball when Gonçalo Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Nuno Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Neves in the 8th minute of play. If Daniel Macena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Valdemar Modesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Modesto's late challenge caught a Hospicio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Modesto helped the player get up and apologised. Valdemar Modesto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Chavao's goalkeeper Luís Camargo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Camargo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Amorim's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Gonçalo Amorim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as João Leal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Camargo. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Hospicio FC's João Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Leal to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Delgado in the 52nd minute of play forced SC Chavao's goalkeeper Luís Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Amorim struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Luís Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hospicio FC. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Chavao's goalkeeper Luís Camargo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hospicio FC's João Leal in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Chavao's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Daniel Macena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hospicio FC's Nuno Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Macena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Delgado having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Macena in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Delgado saved Hospicio FC from getting behind. Nuno Delgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Macena's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Gonçalo Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Camargo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 73 played minutes SC Chavao got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Neves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Amorim in the 74th minute of play forced SC Chavao's goalkeeper Luís Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Leal in the 79th minute of play. Gonçalo Amorim struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute João Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Chavao's Luís Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Amorim in the 93rd minute of play. Hospicio FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
