Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sandro Soares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. David Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Isaac Neto fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montado's protests and gave Isaac Neto a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquim Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montado's David Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Soares in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Coelho got free with Viriato Pacheco in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Montado booed when Borralheira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Armando Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Martins took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Assunção. Montado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. David Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Tavares in the 15th minute of play. If João Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Viriato Pacheco made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Gustavo Coelho sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Armando Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, João Jesus notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Borralheira FC's Viriato Pacheco. Viriato Pacheco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 42 played minutes Borralheira FC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Oliveira. 46 minutes into the match, Montado's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Soares came free, but David Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Assunção came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Borralheira FC's Gil Lopes. But to his dismay, Gil Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Jesus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Borralheira FC's Amadeu Araújo got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Joaquim Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borralheira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montado the free kick. In the 59th minute, Joaquim Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Ferreira's late challenge caught a Borralheira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Montado's Armando Ferreira got a free kick in the 66th minute. Gil Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but David Assunção made a huge save. In the 71st minute Sandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Júlio Oliveira scored to the left of an out of position David Assunção, making the score, 2-2. A collision led to Montado getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ismael Quinaz hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes, Borralheira FC's Armando Martins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Assunção came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borralheira FC reached it. 83 minutes into the match, Borralheira FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Jesus came free, but Viriato Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Tavares in the 84th minute of play forced Montado's goalkeeper David Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Assunção was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sandro Soares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 90 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Borralheira FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
