Ricardo Monteiro came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Achada's Viriato Mota. But to his dismay, Viriato Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Viriato Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fc tauros's Ricardo Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandre Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Alexandre Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Achada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fc tauros the free kick. After a rather tough play, Achada's Alexandre Barros got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Viriato Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Achada's Viriato Mota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Humberto Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Pacheco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Ricardo Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Viriato Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Monteiro was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 44thth minute of the game Viriato Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fc tauros's Ricardo Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fc tauros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Achada were winning 0-3.

Ricardo Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Paiva in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Viriato Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Paiva got free with Ricardo Monteiro in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Nogueira in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Pacheco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júlio Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Nogueira in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Achada's zone, Gabriel Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Pacheco came out of the goal and Gabriel Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Achada's Viriato Mota ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Monteiro. Ricardo Monteiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After some careless play in the fc tauros defense, Viriato Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Monteiro. The fc tauros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Humberto Nogueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Pacheco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Nogueira ran back to his position shaking his head. If Adolfo Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, fc tauros's Humberto Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Pacheco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Achada eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
