Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Laurentino Assis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Viriato Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4th match minute, Lagos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Paião to maneuver through the defense. Lagos FC's Duarte Neiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Lagos FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Lagos FC's Sandro Vilarinho got a free kick in the 7th minute. Júlio Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Carvalhal in the 10th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Adolfo Paiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alexandre Barros's late challenge caught a Lagos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Achada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Barros to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Viriato Mota reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Duarte Neiva. The goal made the score 2-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Viriato Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Paiva got free with Duarte Neiva in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Paiva struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Duarte Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achada. Lagos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Paião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Achada's Júlio Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurentino Assis in the 30th minute of play. Alexandre Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With his leg Duarte Neiva managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Achada's Adolfo Paiva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adolfo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Duarte Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Viriato Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lagos FC's Duarte Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th match minute, Lagos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Vilarinho to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lagos FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Diego Araújo hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Viriato Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Duarte Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Viriato Mota made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Adolfo Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Achada's Júlio Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurentino Assis in the 62nd minute of play. Duarte Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Mota in the 66th minute of play. If André Carvalhal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Mota in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Lagos FC's André Carvalhal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Lagos FC's zone, Adolfo Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Neiva came out of the goal and Adolfo Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salvador Paião hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Adolfo Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Achada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Paiva couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Mota in the 94th minute of play forced Lagos FC's goalkeeper Duarte Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Viriato Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lagos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
