Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eduardo Pacheco kicked off to start the match. Eduardo Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Magalhães having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Gateiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Simões came free, but Gaspar Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Simões in the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Pacheco in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bento Magalhães saved Meca from getting behind. Gaspar Anjos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bento Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Anjos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Emanuel Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, one of Gateiras FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Meca. Manuel Moreira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gaspar Anjos. 0-1. Gateiras FC's Eduardo Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Meca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alexandre Guarda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 51 played minutes Gateiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Barbosa. When Meca's Bento Gonçalves in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gateiras FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Eduardo Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gateiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Bento Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bento Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Meca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Matias to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Pacheco in the 93rd minute of play forced Meca's goalkeeper Bento Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Gateiras FC's Alexandre Guarda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bento Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.
