After a rather tough play, Coto's Afonso Estrada got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Álvaro Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Trindade struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ronaldo Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lobrigos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Trindade in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Saraiva saved Coto from getting behind. With a little luck, Coto's Ronaldo Saraiva got control of the ball when Albertino Moniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Coto a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mário Moutinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Lobrigos's Eduardo Mota. 0-2. Coto's Renato Torcato got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Álvaro Leme notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SC Lobrigos's Eduardo Mota. Eduardo Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The SC Lobrigos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coto were winning 0-3.

After a defensive mix-up in SC Lobrigos's zone, Cássio Sales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Mota came out of the goal and Cássio Sales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Mota having to interfere. Renato Torcato might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Torcato ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to SC Lobrigos getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Manuel Rodrigues hit a great ball. Ronaldo Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the game, Hélder Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Lobrigos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coto the free kick. The long shot by António Pessoa in the 81st minute really tested Eduardo Mota's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 83rd minute, Afonso Estrada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 played minutes Álvaro Leme rounded SC Lobrigos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Sandro Dias hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Leme in the 95th minute of play forced SC Lobrigos's goalkeeper Eduardo Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
