Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacinto Faria got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Joaquim Lima made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Machado. Agunchos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Relva's zone, Viriato Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Pedroso came out of the goal and Viriato Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Viriato Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Barros during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Relva getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Raul Barros hit a great ball. Agunchos's Amílcar Alves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Relva. If Jacinto Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute, Vicente Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jacinto Faria came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Relva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Faria couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Diamantino Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 26 minutes, Jacinto Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Relva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Jacinto Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Duarte Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Viriato Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cândido Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viriato Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Pedroso having to interfere. Joaquim Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Agunchos's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Lima came free, but Duarte Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Agunchos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Relva were winning 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Almeida was the one to do the kick off. Duarte Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Almeida in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cândido Pedroso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Hélder Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 minutes Relva's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amílcar Alves who took care of the corner kick. Amílcar Alves made a great header on Agunchos's corner, it was just that Relva's Cândido Pedroso managed to reach the ball for a save. Jacinto Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Machado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Agunchos's Vicente Morais got a free kick in the 64th minute. The supporters of Relva booed when Agunchos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Daniel Melo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duarte Machado skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Lima got free with Duarte Machado in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiago Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cândido Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Relva's Jacinto Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Agunchos's zone, Joaquim Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Machado came out of the goal and Joaquim Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Jacinto Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Agunchos's goalkeeper Duarte Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Lima. In the 93rd minute, Joaquim Lima fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Duarte Machado, passed just outside the right post. Tiago Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
