If Laércio Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Borba struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Álvaro Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veigas Sport. Álvaro Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jorge Bulhosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Vale made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gervásio Sacadura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Boaventura kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Tiago Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jorge Bulhosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Bulhosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes in the game, Adolfo Vale fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jorge Bulhosa having to interfere. Álvaro Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio Borba went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Wilson Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Álvaro Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Tiago Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
