Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Ferreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiago Paredes came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Servo FC's Alf Knoos. But to his dismay, Alf Knoos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Armando Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Servo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Alf Knoos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Armando Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tiago Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Alf Knoos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tiago Paredes, 2-0. Sérgio Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Tiago Paredes made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Alf Knoos sent off a good shot on target. Alf Knoos in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiago Paredes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Armando Ferreira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Servo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 30th minute, Domingos Resende made a precise shot to the right of Cândido Matias. Servo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Armando Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Paredes having to interfere. Tiago Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Knoos in the 38th minute. If Armando Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cândido Matias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Resende in the 43rd minute of play. Tiago Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Ferreira in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After a defensive mix-up in SC Gamelas's zone, Alf Knoos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Paredes came out of the goal and Alf Knoos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusébio Delgado's late challenge caught a Servo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Gamelas's Eusébio Delgado got a free kick in the 56th minute. Alf Knoos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Paredes having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Armando Ferreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Servo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. With a little luck, Servo FC's Cândido Matias got control of the ball when Luís Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Servo FC. André Nunes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tiago Paredes. 5-1.
