Teófilo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Assis having to interfere. SC Aguincho's David Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teófilo Valente in the 6th minute of play. When Sputnik HGFC's Teófilo Valente in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Aguincho's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes, Tomás Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Aguincho and the Sputnik HGFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Aguincho getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tomás Maia hit a great ball. The supporters of Sputnik HGFC booed when SC Aguincho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, SC Aguincho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Borges to maneuver through the defense. Germano Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. David Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sputnik HGFC's Teófilo Valente in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Catarino Fidalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lúcio Sá made a kick off. Elias Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Germano Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sputnik HGFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Sputnik HGFC's Pascoal Galvão got control of the ball when Fernando Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SC Aguincho getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lúcio Sá hit a great ball. Pascoal Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cândido Domingues in the 62nd minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Teófilo Valente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Aguincho's David Assis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sputnik HGFC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after SC Aguincho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Sanches took the corner. Carlos Sanches made a great header on Sputnik HGFC's corner, it was just that SC Aguincho's David Assis managed to reach the ball for a save. Teófilo Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. David Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Germano Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Sputnik HGFC's goalkeeper Pascoal Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Baptista. Pascoal Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 74 played minutes Sputnik HGFC got a freekick which was hit by Germano Barbosa. Germano Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Teófilo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Assis having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Teófilo Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute of the match Sputnik HGFC got a corner. SC Aguincho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Sanches ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlos Sanches made a great header on Sputnik HGFC's corner, it was just that SC Aguincho's David Assis managed to reach the ball for a save. Teófilo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Assis having to interfere. Cândido Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Pascoal Galvão made a huge save. Despite being the better team, Sputnik HGFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
