Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Portugal 07's Heitor Guarda seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Heitor Guarda the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Portugal 07 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Heitor Guarda had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Portugal 07 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sputnik HGFC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Sanches, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Portugal 07's Bruno Borba. 0-3. A collision led to Portugal 07 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sérgio Maia hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Teófilo Valente made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Pascoal Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristiano Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Portugal 07 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Lopes couldn't finish the play. Teófilo Valente's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Bruno Borba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vasco Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Sputnik HGFC booed when Portugal 07 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Lopes came free in the 96th minute and tried to tip the ball over Pascoal Galvão, but to the joy of Sputnik HGFC's supporters the ball went over. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sputnik HGFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
