Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Vale got the match started through his kick off. Álvaro Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. António Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Abel Soares notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ermezinde FC's António Cabral. António Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diogo Guarda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Joaquim Moniz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joaquim Moniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 44 minutes, Álvaro Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curopos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Vaz in the 47th minute of play forced Ermezinde FC's goalkeeper António Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Álvaro Vaz made a kick off. Heitor Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59thth minute of the game João Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curopos's Joaquim Moniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Abel Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Mário Aguiar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ermezinde FC's António Cabral didn't even have to move. Diogo Guarda struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Joaquim Moniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ermezinde FC. 69 minutes into the match, Curopos's goal looked a bit too open when João Vale came free, but Joaquim Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The Curopos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Curopos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
