In the 15th minute, Heitor Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Adolfo Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Diamantino Soeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benfica do Miratejo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pamarao the free kick. A collision led to Benfica do Miratejo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Diamantino Soeiro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Campos in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Barbosa saved Benfica do Miratejo from getting behind. Heitor Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Márcio Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Barbosa having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Benfica do Miratejo's goalkeeper Carlos Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heitor Andrade. Carlos Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heitor Andrade in the 34th minute. When Diamantino Soeiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. In the 36th minute, Diamantino Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Heitor Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. In the 51st match minute, Pamarao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Paredes to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Veríssimo Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Queirós was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Márcio Gama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Macedo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Andrade in the 64th minute of play forced Benfica do Miratejo's goalkeeper Carlos Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Gama's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Gama got free with Manuel Macedo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Heitor Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pamarao's Heitor Andrade in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
