Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Melo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Borba saved Sandelgas from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Maia in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Jesus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Barbito's Paulo Jesus got control of the ball when Filipe Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Álvaro Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Barbito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Paredes couldn't finish the play. Gonçalo Pinto struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. José Borba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbito. Diamantino Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandelgas's José Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Melo in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Álvaro Paredes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Borba was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Filipe Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Jesus having to interfere. Diamantino Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Paulo Maia made the kick off in the second half. Filipe Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Jesus having to make a save. After 64 played minutes Sandelgas got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Ferro. After having played for 67 minutes, Álvaro Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Melo in the 68th minute of play forced Sandelgas's goalkeeper José Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Diamantino Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Sandelgas got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Ferro. If Filipe Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Jesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Sandelgas's José Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Melo in the 82nd minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Diamantino Melo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Borba. Diamantino Melo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The Barbito supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barbito would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
