Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vasco Vaz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Júlio Miranda succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 7th match minute, SC Alcoutim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Sá to maneuver through the defense. Pateo FC's Lourenço Maia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Alcoutim. Vasco Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Augusto Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Almeida in the 12th minute. Augusto Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Vaz in the 13th minute of play. Vasco Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Pateo FC's Augusto Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Cabral having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Vasco Cardoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Filipe Cabral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Júlio Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Filipe Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Miranda to make the kick off. Filipe Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Carlos Pereira hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. SC Alcoutim's Augusto Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Almeida in the 63rd minute of play. Eusébio Viana hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Augusto Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Vaz in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, José Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Almeida in the 80th minute of play. Vasco Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Pateo FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jorge Oliveira hit a great ball. Vasco Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Cabral having to make a save. Vasco Vaz took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Leite. Augusto Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The SC Alcoutim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Alcoutim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
