After a rather tough play, white angels's Afonso Aleixo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Adolfo Figueiredo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eusébio Marques. Afonso Aleixo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Salamonde's António Pedroso in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye white angels's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, white angels's goalkeeper Adolfo Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Fernandes. Lourenço Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, white angels's Adolfo Figueiredo got control of the ball when Henrique Assis tried to sneak it across the goal line. white angels's Adolfo Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Pedroso in the 14th minute of play. André Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lourenço Fernandes having to make a save. After having played for 30 minutes, André Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. white angels's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lucas Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. André Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Figueiredo having to interfere. white angels's Adolfo Figueiredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save white angels from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Antunes was the one to do the kick off. André Antunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Lourenço Fernandes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. white angels's Lucas Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Dantas scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lourenço Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the white angels defense, António Pedroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Figueiredo. The white angels fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. Lourenço Fernandes was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and André Antunes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. André Antunes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. After 81 played minutes Salamonde got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Fernandes. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Antunes in the 82nd minute of play forced Salamonde's goalkeeper Lourenço Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Assis in the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, António Pedroso made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Figueiredo. white angels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Lucas Dantas came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lourenço Fernandes could save by the left post. Salamonde's Lourenço Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Salamonde from getting a goal against them. The white angels supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing white angels would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
