Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Amadeu Taveira made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vitória de Setúbal's zone, Henrique Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Magalhães came out of the goal and Henrique Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salamonde's António Pedroso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Hugo Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Assis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitória de Setúbal's Hugo Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Pedroso in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilson Horta during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vitória de Setúbal's Wilson Horta got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Vitória de Setúbal's goalkeeper Hugo Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Assis. Lourenço Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Taveira in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Salamonde's zone, André Abrantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lourenço Fernandes came out of the goal and André Abrantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th match minute, Vitória de Setúbal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Horta to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Pedroso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Henrique Assis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vitória de Setúbal's Hugo Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. António Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Amadeu Taveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Henrique Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salamonde's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrique Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hugo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute António Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hugo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Pedroso in the 78th minute of play forced Vitória de Setúbal's goalkeeper Hugo Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Henrique Assis came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Salamonde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Assis couldn't finish the play. Hugo Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Pedroso in the 90th minute of the match. Henrique Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Hugo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Henrique Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
