Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adérito Espírito Santo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carrazedo FC's Gregório Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laurentino Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Gregório Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Carrazedo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregório Teixeira couldn't finish the play. After having played for 15 minutes, Jaime Pegado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pegado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Adérito Espírito Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrazedo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adérito Espírito Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Micael Trigueiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Carrazedo FC booed when Valentina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurentino Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Micael Trigueiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adérito Espírito Santo in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Adérito Espírito Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrazedo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adérito Espírito Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Micael Trigueiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the game, Jaime Pegado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valentina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrazedo FC the free kick. In the 36th minute, one of Valentina FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Valentina FC. Micael Trigueiro had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Antero Vilhena's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 39th minute Jaime Pegado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Paixão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Paixão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pegado's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Jaime Pegado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Paixão having to interfere. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrazedo FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Paixão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pegado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Filinto Balsemão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Paixão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimas Valadão charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimas Valadão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dimas Valadão hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Valentina FC's goalkeeper Micael Trigueiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregório Teixeira. Valentina FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Adérito Espírito Santo scored to the left of an out of position Micael Trigueiro, making the score, 1-1. If Isidoro Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Paixão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pegado in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valentina FC's Laurentino Moura got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes, Laurentino Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valentina FC and the Carrazedo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Valentina FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Laurentino Moura hit a great ball. After 82 minutes of play, Valentina FC's Jaime Pegado made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Paixão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute Isidoro Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Paixão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Estevão Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Antero Vilhena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Micael Trigueiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gregório Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Carrazedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Filinto Balsemão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Raimundo Paixão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carrazedo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
