Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hermes Raminhos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Valentina FC's Jaime Pegado got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hermes Raminhos came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the MogaDouro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermes Raminhos couldn't finish the play. After 20 played minutes Valentina FC got a freekick which was hit by Laurentino Moura. Jaime Pegado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, MogaDouro's goalkeeper Reinaldo Vidal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filinto Balsemão. Cesário Pádua hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Valentina FC's Juliano Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Valentina FC's Filinto Balsemão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. MogaDouro's Reinaldo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filinto Balsemão in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jaime Pegado made the kick off in the second half. Micael Trigueiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermes Raminhos in the 55th minute of the match. Hermes Raminhos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivo Bandeira lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Micael Trigueiro went to the wrong direction when Amável Caetano was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jaime Pegado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reinaldo Vidal having to make a save. After 75 played minutes Valentina FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Prestes. Idalécio Ramires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Micael Trigueiro having to make a save. Idalécio Ramires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Micael Trigueiro made a huge save. In the 98th minute, Isidoro Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermes Raminhos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of MogaDouro's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. MogaDouro may have spent more time on the ball, but Valentina FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
