Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Moutinho made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, SC Mafra's David Teixeira got a free kick in the 4th minute. David Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Xavier Paredes made a huge save. Jorge Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Cardoso having to interfere. Gonçalo Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20thth minute of the game Paulo Moutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Mafra's Gonçalo Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xavier Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Freitas in the 31st minute of the match. ..SLB4EVER..'s Xavier Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save ..SLB4EVER.. from getting a goal against them. ..SLB4EVER..'s Jorge Gueifão got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, SC Mafra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Mafra's Eduardo Nunes got a free kick in the 48th minute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adelino Freitas to make the kick off. Jorge Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Cardoso having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, SC Mafra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Mafra getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. David Teixeira hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Moutinho in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Cardoso saved SC Mafra from getting behind. Jorge Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ..SLB4EVER..'s Cláudio Baptista was substituted for Abel Costa. In the 77th minute, Paulo Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Moutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonçalo Cardoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Moutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonçalo Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Nunes in the 83rd minute of play. Xavier Paredes came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Mafra's Adelino Freitas. But to his dismay, Adelino Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Xavier Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. ..SLB4EVER.. played a much better game than SC Mafra and deserved their victory. The SC Mafra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
