Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alcino Lobo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heitor Santos during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Fragoas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Santos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Fragoas getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alberto Vieira hit a great ball. When José Viveiros fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mossamedes FC's protests and gave José Viveiros a yellow card for diving instead. José Viveiros kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Brás in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermes Sobral saved Mossamedes FC from getting behind. Jaime Tinoco kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 17thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Fragoas's keeper André Correia was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 17 played minutes Fragoas got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Setúbal. If Jaime Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hermes Sobral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fragoas booed when Mossamedes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Lameirinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hermes Sobral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermes Sobral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Brás went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alcino Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. André Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fragoas's zone, Vítor Lameirinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Correia came out of the goal and Vítor Lameirinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Fragoas getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Artur Ferreira hit a great ball. If Alcino Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Hermes Sobral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Brás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Gomes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game João Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mossamedes FC's Hermes Sobral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When João Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Fragoas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Gomes couldn't finish the play. Palmiro Conde hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Joel Brás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mossamedes FC's Palmiro Conde got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Joel Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute João Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermes Sobral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When João Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Fragoas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Gomes couldn't finish the play. Joel Brás might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermes Sobral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Brás ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the match, Mossamedes FC's goalkeeper Hermes Sobral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Brás. Jaime Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. João Gomes hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mossamedes FC's Alex Pinho got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Joel Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Gomes in the 95th minute of play forced Mossamedes FC's goalkeeper Hermes Sobral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fragoas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
