Sobrainho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Avanca the free kick. After 9 played minutes Sobrainho got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Vaz. If Nuno Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Delgado in the 13th minute of the match. Isidro Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Catarino Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, SC Avanca's goalkeeper Samuel Telinhos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Catarino Cardoso. After a rather tough play, Sobrainho's Oliveira Coimbra got a free kick in the 29th minute. Catarino Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nuno Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SC Avanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Delgado couldn't finish the play. Catarino Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Samuel Telinhos made a huge save. In the 47th match minute, Sobrainho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Varela scored 0-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Sobrainho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Avanca were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Delgado made a kick off. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sobrainho! When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, SC Avanca's Tobias Varela got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of André Miranda. In the 70th match minute, SC Avanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Varela to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Sobrainho's Tiago Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Telinhos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Catarino Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Samuel Telinhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tiago Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sobrainho's Tiago Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Telinhos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Esteves in the 95th minute of the match. Joaquim Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 96 minutes into the game, one of Sobrainho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
