Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jarbas Rangel got the match started through his kick off. Jarbas Rangel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Neves having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Jarbas Rangel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salsas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarbas Rangel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgílio Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Tavares in the 14th minute of the match. Afonso Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Virgílio Laureano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Roriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Vidais getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Lucas Nunes hit a great ball. When Alexandre Marques came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the SC Vidais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Marques couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SC Vidais booed when Salsas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervásio Trigueiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarbas Rangel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jorge Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Neves came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Salsas's Cláudio Roriz. But to his dismay, Cláudio Roriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Tavares made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Salsas's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Tavares came free, but Virgílio Laureano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Afonso Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the SC Vidais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Tavares couldn't finish the play. Afonso Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Laureano having to interfere. Jorge Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Roriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Cesário walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Virgílio Laureano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Melo in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Pinheiro during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Salsas booed when SC Vidais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Cesário, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cláudio Roriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, SC Vidais's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Roriz came free, but Jorge Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Rangel in the 98th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Jarbas Rangel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SC Vidais's Jorge Neves. Jorge Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Vidais's Jorge Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Roriz in the 102nd minute of play.
