Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Gravanco's Osvaldo Baía started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caio Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Roriz in the 3rd minute of play. In the 10th minute, SC Gravanco's Alcino Reis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alcino Reis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Gravanco protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alcino Reis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 9 minutes into the game, one of SC Gravanco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 14 played minutes Salsas got a freekick which was hit by Estevão Alves. If Celso Miguéis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Rangel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Caio Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Roriz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caio Moniz having to make a save. Caio Moniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermenegildo Ruas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Caio Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Rangel in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Cláudio Roriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Moniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Gravanco's Caio Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Roriz in the 38th minute of play. Caio Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Roriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

SC Gravanco's Celso Miguéis got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Celso Miguéis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cláudio Roriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Miguéis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When João Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salsas's protests and gave João Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Salsas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Zeferino Brochado managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Gravanco's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeferino Brochado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgílio Laureano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, SC Gravanco's Celso Miguéis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgílio Laureano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jarbas Rangel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Caio Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Celso Miguéis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Laureano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Salsas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
