Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Ademar Teves came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SC Cruzetinhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Teves couldn't finish the play. José Moniz charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Moniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, José Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, David Moutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Micael Damásio. SC Cruzetinhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Moutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. David Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Micael Damásio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Brasileira's David Moutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Micael Damásio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 34th minute, Ademar Teves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st match minute, SC Cruzetinhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Barata to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Antunes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Micael Damásio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Moutinho in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ademar Teves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roberto Figueira spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SC Brasileira's goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Dantas in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Micael Damásio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, David Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Trigueiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Faria having to make a save. In the 83rd minute, David Moutinho made a precise shot to the right of Micael Damásio. SC Cruzetinhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 89th match minute, SC Brasileira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Antunes to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Ademar Teves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Simão Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in SC Brasileira's zone, Ademar Teves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Faria came out of the goal and Ademar Teves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The SC Cruzetinhos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Brasileira's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Brasileira.
