Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Regatinha FC's Adolfo Cruz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Adolfo Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 3rd match minute, Permedelos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Assis to maneuver through the defense. Regatinha FC's Adolfo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Queirós hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Miguel Resende, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ricardo Barros sped through Regatinha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristiano Mota. Cristiano Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Barros in the 25th minute of play. Manuel Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Cruz in the 30th minute of play. Adolfo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Manuel Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Silva having to interfere. António Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Manuel Silva made a huge save. When Artur Gueifão came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Permedelos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Gueifão couldn't finish the play. Artur Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cristiano Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Regatinha FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Permedelos FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Artur Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Permedelos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Regatinha FC's zone, Artur Gueifão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Mota came out of the goal and Artur Gueifão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ricardo Barros notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Regatinha FC's Cristiano Mota. Cristiano Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. António Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Silva having to interfere. If Adolfo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th play minute Artur Gueifão came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cristiano Mota. 0-3. António Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Cruz in the 89th minute of play forced Permedelos FC's goalkeeper Manuel Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Resende hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
