Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luís Luz got the match started through his kick off. Laboucinho's Heitor Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Leite in the 3rd minute of play. Murilo Aragão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Heitor Jesus. Laboucinho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hugo Valadão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Jesus having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Leite in the 19th minute of play forced Laboucinho's goalkeeper Heitor Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Laboucinho got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Freitas. After 23 minutes of play, Candeeira's Matias Leite made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heitor Jesus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexandre Assis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lisandro Fraga. Candeeira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Fagundes during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Candeeira's Basílio Fagundes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Laboucinho's Alexandre Assis tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Heitor Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Valadão in the 37th minute of play. Alexandre Assis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Leite was the one to do the kick off. José Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Fraga having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, José Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laboucinho's supporters rose to their feet, but José Brás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Fraga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Valadão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Jesus having to interfere. Matias Leite struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Heitor Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Candeeira. Candeeira's Hugo Valadão got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Laboucinho's goalkeeper Heitor Jesus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Valadão. Luís Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lisandro Fraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Valadão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Jesus having to interfere. Matias Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Heitor Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Valadão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, José Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laboucinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Candeeira supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Candeeira would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
