Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) José Vieira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Vieira in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Caneira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Manuel Brás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that José Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Caneira was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Tiago Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Gonçalves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiago Fernandes went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Daniel Branco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Gustavo Brandão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Brandão in the 29th minute. Severiano Caneira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vieira in the 32nd minute of play. C D TONDELA's Severiano Caneira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Brás in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, António Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Brandão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Gonçalves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Brandão to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Daniel Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almalaguez and the C D TONDELA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Gustavo Brandão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almalaguez's Joaquim Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Fernandes in the 60th minute of play. Manuel Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Caneira having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, C D TONDELA's Gustavo Brandão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Gonçalves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, C D TONDELA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Amaro to maneuver through the defense. José Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Severiano Caneira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Caneira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Vieira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 83 minute of play. Gustavo Brandão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Gonçalves having to interfere. If Tiago Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C D TONDELA had won after a very even match.
