Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaspar Veiga got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Serzedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Veiga came free, but Alcides Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Gastão Laureano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Paredes. Arrochella's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gastão Laureano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Arrochella's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Bessa came free, but Emílio Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeu Bessa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Serzedo FC's Gastão Laureano got a free kick in the 18th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Amadeu Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serzedo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Arrochella getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. José Dias hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes, Serzedo FC's Filinto Quaresma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emílio Paredes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Serzedo FC reached it. The attack was good, but when Gaspar Veiga in the 27th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 33rd minute, Serzedo FC's Gastão Laureano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The Arrochella fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Arrochella's Gaspar Veiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alcides Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Veiga's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Gastão Laureano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeu Bessa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Jesus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alcides Vargas firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gastão Laureano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serzedo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gastão Laureano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arrochella's Emílio Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Bessa in the 66th minute of play. Gastão Laureano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Arrochella's Amadeu Jesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alcides Vargas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amadeu Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alcides Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Quintino Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serzedo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrochella the free kick. Quintino Montenegro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Gastão Laureano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fernando Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Amadeu Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alcides Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Veiga in the 95th minute of play. Amadeu Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arrochella players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Serzedo FC.
