Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sandro Cruz made the kick off and thus started the match. Armando Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Armando Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Reis made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Armando Mota sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albertino Leiria during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Meixedo's Albertino Leiria got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Ricardo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almodofa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Almodofa FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Miguel Dias hit a great ball. After 21 minutes, Ricardo Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almodofa FC and the Meixedo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Meixedo's Viriato Correia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Armando Mota hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Meixedo's Oliveira Morais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Cruz in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Almodofa FC booed when Meixedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Almodofa FC's Sandro Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
André Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Correia in the 52nd minute of play. Sandro Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Sandro Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliveira Morais. Meixedo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sandro Cruz took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliveira Morais. Oliveira Morais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Sandro Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Morais having to interfere. Viriato Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Reis having to interfere. Oliveira Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Santos in the 77th minute of the match. Sandro Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Morais having to interfere. With his leg Oliveira Morais managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Almodofa FC's Sandro Cruz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rogério Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Morais having to interfere. Domingos Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Almodofa FC's Fábio Assunção got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Almodofa FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
