After a defensive mix-up in Taboaco FC's zone, Damião Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Lima came out of the goal and Damião Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes of play, Pico's Damião Guimarães made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaspar Carneiro took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damião Lobo. Damião Lobo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The audience was convinced that Diogo Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damião Lobo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Damásio in the 41st minute of play forced Taboaco FC's goalkeeper Tomás Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarbas Damásio made a kick off. Paulo Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damião Lobo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Taboaco FC's Diogo Barbosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damião Lobo. In the 58th match minute, Taboaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Dias to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Jarbas Damásio notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Taboaco FC's Tomás Lima. Tomás Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damião Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
